Nina Gertrude Scott Hudson Pool Bartley, 92, of Columbus, died
Monday, February 2, 2015, at Willow Crossing Health and
Rehabilitation Center.
Before retirement, she had been employed as a factory worker
at Cinch Factory in Shelbyville.
She was a member of Parkside Baptist Church and she loved
gardening, flowers and canning.
Born November 1, 1922, in Albany, Kentucky, Nina was the
daughter of John Taylor and Eva Stella Riddle Scott. She was
married to Loren Hudson, Harry Pool and Chester Bartley, all of
whom preceded her in death.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Norman
Funeral Home in Hope with the Revs. Bill Bailey and Rudy Lee
officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and
from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Forrest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Parkside Baptist
Church.
Survivors include a son, Ronald L. (Carolyn) Hudson of
Columbus; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 12
great-great-grandchildren; 22 stepgrandchildren; 26
stepgreat-grandchildren; and a stepdaughter-in-law,
Jeanette Pool of Columbus.
Nina was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings,
three husbands and a stepson, Harold Pool.
