Norma Jean Henderson, 82, of Hope passed away Wednesday at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg.

Born October 14, 1939 in Russell County, KY. she was the daughter of Norman F. and Clorene Grant Grider.  She married Jerry Henderson July 10, 1954 and he preceded her in death April 22, 1982.

Norma Jean is survived by sons, Gary (Teresa) Henderson of Hope and Bruce Henderson of Columbus; grandchildren, Chris (Tim) Tallent of Hope, Lauren Wilson (Chris Hawley) of Columbus and Megan Kelsay of North Vernon; great grandchildren, Adi Tallent of Hope and Riley Wilson of Columbus.

Before retirement Norma Jean was employed as a home health care provider.  In her previous years she had been employed at Amos Plastics and Cummins Engine Company.

She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and reading.

Visitation for Norma Jean will be Sunday November 28 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home.  There will be a private graveside service at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Norma Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband; children, Dale Henderson, Billy Joe Henderson and Richard Henderson and a brother, Jimmy Grider.
