O. Keith Lucas, 90 Of Hope passed away Tuesday June 1, 2010 at 7:55 p.m. at Miller's Merry Manor in Hope.
Mr. Lucas had been a farmer, a school bus driver for Flatrock-Hawcreek School Corp 21 years, first superintendent for Hope Gas Utility, first manager for Agrico fertitlizer plant in Hope;and owned the former Traders Corner Store in Hope. He also had been a member of
Hope Fire Dept. Hope Masonic Lodge for over 60 years; Scottish Rite and Hope United Methodist Church. He loved to fish and play golf.
The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Norman Funeral Home with the Rev Jerry Crouse officiating. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a masonic memorial service at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Born July 24, 1919, Mr Lucas was the son of Howard and Edna Lucas. He married
Martha Hendrickson on Feburary 1, 1941. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include a daughter Janet(Raymond) Embry of Hope; grandchildren Troy Embry of Columbus, Terry (Lori) Embry of Hope and Sandy (Tony) Harvey of Vernon; great grandchildren Taylor and Haley Embry and Cole Harvey.
He was preceded in death by his parents , his wife and brothers Milo,Cleo and Donald Lucas and a sister Lavena Crain.
