Patricia "Pat" K. L. Wasson, 71, of Columbus passed
away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Our Hospice of South
Central Indiana.
Pat owned her own dog grooming business, "Paws
and Claws" since 1988.
She enjoyed taking care of her yard and flowers.
Pat was a big animal lover and loved her cats. She also
enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at Norman
Funeral Home in Hope. Burial will follow at Pleasant
Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from
4 to 8 p.m and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Memorial contributions may be given to C.A.R.E.
Animal Rescue or Litter Box Kitty Rescue.
Born on October 5, 1944 in Shelbyville, Pat was
the daughter of Albert Siefert and Dolores Lambert
Sneed. She married Roy Gene Wasson on June 16,
1979 at Hartsville Church of Christ and he survives.
Other survivors include; children, Brent Coy of Hope,
Craig (Mandy) Coy of Shelbyville, Stephanie Phillips of
Georgia, Roy M. (Lori) Wasson of Indianapolis,
Virgil Timothy (Joann) Wasson, and David
(Melissa Lonaker) Wasson, both of Hope;
10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings,
Norita Mohr and Philip Siefert, both of Fairland;
mother-in-law, Effie F. Wasson of Columbus; and
several nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William and James Siefert; and father-in-law Roy C. Wasson.
