Peggy Ann Bowling, 51, of Scottsburg passed away Sunday December 7, 2025 at Willow Crossing Health Facility in Columbus.

Born November 4, 1974 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of Howard Bowling and Linda Sawyer Vanderburg.

Peggy had previously been employed as a factory worker and some other employments.

She was a collector of pigs.

There will be a visitation for Peggy Thursday from 2-4 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope.  Cremation will take place following visitation.  Burial of Peggy's cremains at Spurgeon Cemetery in Austin will be at a later date.

Peggy is survived by children, Michael (Margarita) Rooks of Seymour, Natasha Dawn Rooks of New Albany and Lexie Marie Rachalle Morris of Seymour; grandchildren, Brennan Barger, Blake Kincaid, Jonathon Rooks, Bryson Burch, Raelyn Weston and Krystalyn Rooks; brothers, Calvin Johnson of Scottsburg and Ronald (Karla) Hurt of Scottsburg and Peggy's child's father Eddie Morris.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.

Monetary donations may be donated to Norman Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
