Obituary

Philip Stephen Crouse, 48 of Columbus passed away Saturday May 26,2012 at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, Az. where he was under going treatment for a brain tumor.

Philip had been employed as a production associate for LNP/Sabic
in Columbus. He was a1982 graduate of Hauser High School and had attended Ball Sate University. He served in the U.S Marine Corp for two years.

Philip was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church in Hope, In, loved to hunt and fish, loved his Dobermans and had been a volunteer for the SOAR progran at Wishard Memorial Hospital Burn Center. He was also an organ donor.

Born in New Castle on April 8, 1964, he was the son of Jerry D and
Ileen Stephens Crouse. His parents survive and live in Shelbyville. He married Mellisa Patton in 1992 and she prceded him in death in 1996.
Philip was a devoted father and grandfather and is survived by; his children, Katelyn , Stephenie and Jacob Crouse all of Columbus; a grandson, Stephen Blake Andis of Columbus; a significant other, Jennifer Everroad of Columbus; a sister, Cherlyn (Joel) Wesley of Plainfield; brothers Tim (Geania) Crouse of Brown Co. and
Charlie (Angie) Crouse of Shelbyville.

The funeral will be conducted Sunday at the Hope United Methodist Church at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Randall Slavens and Rev. Mary Ann Hawkins officiating.  Viewing hours will be on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope and on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Cremation is planned with burial at Hope Moravian Cemetery at a later date.

Philip was preceded in death by his wife Mellisa.
