Phillip Earl Mankin, 68 of Taylorsville passed away Wednesday March 27, 2024 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born March 27, 1956 in Columbus he was the son of William Earl and Lois Ellen Tobias Mankin.

Phillip is survived by children, Stephanie Mankin (fiance' C.J. Miller) of Greensburg, Brett Mankin of Greensburg and Wesley Mankin (Sydney Tolbert) of Westport; grandchildren, Ethan Butterfield of Greensburg, Oliver Miller of Greensburg, Isley Miller of Greensburg, Theo Miller of Greensburg and Allayna Mankin of Greensburg; siblings, Donald Mankin, Linda Mankin, Judith Isenberg; girlfriend who resided with him, Teresa Lowe and several nieces and nephews.

Phillip served in the U.S. Navy from 1975-1978.

He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, camping and everything outdoors. He loved sports and spending time with family.

There will be a private visitation for Phillip. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Norman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to Norman Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Keith Mankin.
