R. Brent Ramey, 50, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his home.
Brent previously worked as a supervisor at Enkei for 20 years. He had formerly served as a volunteer fireman and as a Reserve Sheriffs Deputy. He was a member of Masonic Lodge – Dupont.
Brent loved music, fishing, outdoors, and playing cards. He was a University of Kentucky sports fan. Brent was a very good "trickster." He loved his family and his dogs.
Born on March 12, 1970 in Columbus, Brent was the son of Roger L. and Jennifer Kirk Ramey. He married Shelli Banks on November 2, 1996, and she survives.
Other survivors include his father, Roger L. Ramey of Hope; daughter, Logan Delaney Ramey (Steven Fletcher) of Greensburg; sons, Shayne Britton (Trisch Tasca) of Columbus, and Cody Britton of Columbus; granddaughter, Charlotte Britton of Columbus; sister, Stacie (Andrew) Vaughan of Hope; and several nieces and nephews.
Brent is preceded in death by his mother.
Following Brent's wishes, cremation is planned. A memorial visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home.
