Rachel F. Miller, 80 of Hope passed away April 25, 2019 at Silver Oaks Health Center.
Before retirement, she was employed as a cook at Miller's Merry Manor.
She was a member of Flat Rock Methodist Church.
Born April 2, 1939 in Ohio County, KY, Rachel was the daughter of Ott and Dora Hoover Rhoades.
She married John Miller August 12, 1961 and he survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Tammy Guest of Hope; a sister, Kay (Londale) Nicol of Saganaw, TX and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Rachel loved sewing, cooking, watching her hummingbirds, traveling and spending time with her family.
There will be a graveside service for Rachel Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery with Leslie Fix officiating.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Flat Rock Methodist Church Building Fund.
Rachel was preceded in death by her parents; several siblings and a son-in-law, Mike Guest.
