Retta Maxine White's Obituary
Retta Maxine White, 84 of Shelbyville passed away Tuesday
April 15, 2014 at her home.
She had previously attended Hartsville United Methodist
Church.
She enjoyed traveling in the motorhome and airplane and
making things with macrame'.
The funeral will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Norman
Funeral Home in Hope. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until
service time friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Norman Funeral
Home to help with Maxine's funeral expenses.
Maxine was born April 1, 1930 in Greene County. She was the
daughter of Wesley Albert and Ethel Riggle Staker. She married
Lloyd White February 26, 1951 and he preceded her in death
October 10, 2011.
Survivors include; sons, Wynn L.(Diane) White of Baton Rouge,
LA and Randall D.(Sharon) White of Taylorsville; daughters, Teresa
A. Barron of Shelbyville and Sharon(Bennie) Shipley of Columbus;
twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; numerous great-
great grandchildren and siblings, Sandra Sue(Raymond) Weintraut of
Waldron, Gerald(Barbara) Staker of Shelbyville, James(Sandy) Staker
of Shelbyville and Russell(Bert) Staker of Bedford.
Maxine was prededed in death by her parents, her husband and three
brothers.
