Richard E Williams' Obituary
Richard E. Williams, 77 of Edinburgh passed away Thursday
June 5, 2014 at Kindred of Indianapolis South.
He was retired from Cummins where he was a foreman.
He attended Pilgrim Holyness Church in Franklin. He loved
farming, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Norman Funeral
Home in Hope with Rev. Tim Forsee officiating. Visitation will be
Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Flat
Rock Baptist Cemetery west of Clifford.
Memorial contributions may be donated to The Pilgrim Holyness
Church at 1000 Hospital Road, Franklin, IN 46131.
Born March 10, 1937 in Bartholomew County, Richard was the
son of Raymond L. Williams and Emma Doreen Stoughton Williams.
He married Doris K. Moore Williams October 25, 1959 and she
preceded him in death February 1, 2007.
Sirvivors include sons, Randy (Cathy) Williams of Edinburgh,
Terry (Karen) Williams of Hope and Michael Williams of Crescent
City, CA; grandchildren, Scott, Amanda, Joshua, Sarah, Justin,
Elizabeth and Jacob Williams; great grandchildren, Meaghan,
Kaiden, Rylan and Landon; sisters, Barbara Sisson (Wayne Gosch)
of Flat Rock and Betty Proffitt of Columbus.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; son Richard E. Williams Jr. and a brother, Robert W. Williams.
