Rick Barnsfather, 56 of Hope passed away at 4:30 p.m. Friday Sept. 9, 2011 at Indiana Heart Hospital in
Indianapolis.
Mr. Barnsfather had worked at Dolly Madison for many years. He was a member and an elder at Hope House of Prayer
and also attended Messiah Baptist Church. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
The funeral will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rick Leonard officiating.
Calling hours will be from 1:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bear Creek Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to a memorial fund for his grandchildren.
Born in Bartholomew County on August 7, 1955, he was the son of Morrison and Doris Ayers Barnsfather. He married
Beva George in Jonesville on March 18, 1978 and she survives.
Other survivors include daughters Jennifer Robertson of North Vernon and Amanda (Jeremy) Luedeman of Hayden;
grandchildren JadeLynn Luedeman of Hayden, Zoie Robertson of North Vernon, and BrookeLynn, Austin, Justin, and
KatieLynn Luedeman all of Hayden; siblings Vickie Swartzbaugh of Dayton, Ohio, Jerry (Mary) Barnsfather of Delphi, and
Teresa (Dwight) Luttrell of North Vernon; brother-in-law Vernon George and mother-in-law Alice "Jerrie" George both of
Elizabethtown.
Mr. Barnsfather was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Vernon George.
