Robert L. "Bob" Moore 78 of St. Louis Crossing died on September 17, 2011 at 3:27 am at
Columbus Health and Rehab.
He was retired from Cummins Engine Co.
He was a member of St. Louis Crossing Baptist Church and was attending Rugby Chapel. He
served in the U.S. Army.
He loved gardening, fishing, watching college basketball and music.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Revs. Norman
Wallace and Marvin Arnett officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 - 7 pm and from noon until service time on
Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery with Military Graveside
Rites.

Born on June 21, 1933 in Bartholomew County, Mr. Moore was the son of Alfred C. and Augusta M.
Woods Moore. He married Betty M. Beeker December 24, 1954 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Columbus
and she survives.
Other survivors include; children, Roger Dale Moore of Columbus, Patricia (John) Watson of Columbus,
Charlie Bob (Kendra) Moore of Flat Rock, Carol (Paul) Ashbrook of Hope and Scott (Lisa) Moore of Columbus;
grandchildren, Kristen and Bryan Watson, Abbey and Annie Ashbrook and Tyler and Amanda Moore; great
grandchildren, Zoey Seal and Trenton Moore; a sister, Virginia (Pete) Gabbard of Arkansas and a brother
Dan(Donna) Moore of Columbus.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents; a grandchild, Stacy Watson; brothers, Charlie Moore
and Ernest Dee Moore.
