Obituary

Robert E. Stewart, 77 of Hartsville died peacefully Saturday May 25, 2013 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
He was a farmer until 1998 when he suffered a stroke.
Born February 18, 1936 to Robert Henry and Edith Harper Stewart.
He graduated from Hope High School in 1954. He spent two years in the U.S. Navy aboard the Franklin D. Roosevelt Air Craft Carrier.
He married Betty L.Hedrick May 19, 1962 and she survives. They moved to Hartsville in 2001.
He was a member of Hartsville United Methodist Church.
Bob had a passion for his 1957 T-Bird. He had many life long friends.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Hartsville College Cemetery with Rev. Carl Greene officiating. Calling will be from noon until 2:00 at Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Hartsville United Methodist Church or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years; a sister Mary June (Ed)Robert of Princeton, New Jersey; a nephew Floyd Roberts of Treasure Island, Fl. and a niece Edith (Ara) Baronia of Atlanta, GA.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
