Robert Wayne Roberts, 58, of Franklin, died Sunday,
April 20, 2014, at his home.

He had been self employed in the construction
business and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with
his grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Norman
Funeral Home in Hope. Cremation will follow the visitation.

Born May 12, 1955, in Columbus, Robert was the son
of Melvin L. and Doris L. White Roberts.

He is survived by a daughter, Hope (Chris Welling)
Woodard of Franklin; a son, Josh (Stephanie Ulerich)
Roberts of Franklin; grandchildren, Madison Roberts,
Shelby Baker and Noah Woodard, all of Franklin; a brother,
Carl Roberts of Columbus; and a sister, Ethel Rooks of
Freetown.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty
Leonard and Leona Petco; and brothers, Donald and Dale Roberts.
