Roger W. "Walt" Wenger, 73, of Shelbyville died Wednesday March 31, 2021 in Indianapolis.

Born June 6, 1947 in Columbus, IN Roger was the son of Clifton and Dorothy Garner Wenger.  He married Gladys Brown April 27, 1979 and she survives.

Other survivors include children, Kayla (David) Burton, Jacklynn Wenger, Jerry Burton, Jeromey Burton, all of Shelbyville; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Charlotte Wenger (Rick Bess) of Flat Rock, Clifton (Phyllis) Wenger, Jr. of Clifford, Linda Parrish of Shelbyville and several nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; son, Roger Lee Wenger and 2 nieces, Lisa and Ashley.

There will be a visitation Tuesday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a service following.  Burial will be at Flat Rock Cemetery.

Roger enjoyed flying remote control helicopters and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
