Ron L Haptonstall's Obituary
Ron L. Haptonstall, 60 of Columbus died Tuesday May 18, 2010 at his home.
Ron retired from Cummins Engine Co. where he worked as a draftsman. He was a member of the Clifford Fire Dept. and the Hope Masonic Lodge. He also had been bookkeeper for the Hauser Basketball Team and attended Hartsville Church Of Chirst.
The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home. Calling will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. A masonic memorial service will be at 8:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery at Edinburgh.
Born in Franklin January 20, 1950 he was the son of Clifford and Janice Taylor Haptonstall . He married Judy A. Quiggins on April 7, 1974 and she survives.
Other survives include a son Troy A. (Jennifer) Haptonstall of Hebron; a brother Don (Linda) Haptonstall of Columbus and granddaughters Haili and Amy.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, a son Brian and his step mother Fern Haptonstall.
