Ronald Dean Beeker, 83, of St. Louis Crossing passed away Wednesday June 21, 2023 at his home.

Born March 5, 1940 in St. Louis Crossing he was the son of John Robert and Ruth P. Gutherie Beeker.  He married Beverly Jean Gruhl and she preceded him in death on September 27, 2018.

Dean retired from Cummins Engine Company.

He was a member of the Chapel of the Good Shepherd Church.

He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.

Dean is survived by sons, Ronnie Beeker(Beth Huff) of St. Louis Crossing and Tim Beeker (Hong Truong) of Hope; grandchildren, Joshua Beeker of Greenwood, Katey Beeker (Cameron Walker) of Bloomington and Clayton Beeker of Bloomington; siblings, John (Vi) Beeker of Hope, Sue Christy of St. Louis Crossing, Linda (Gerald) Fowler of Hope, Judy (Garry) Christy of Hope and Pat Bense of Hope and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope.  Cremation will take place following visitation and cremains will be buried at Hope Moravian Cemetery at a later date.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents; his wife and a sister Bernise Joann Beeker.
