Ronnie L. Coomer, 70, of Columbus died Sunday December 23, 2018 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
He had been employed as a painter for Right On Painting.
Born June 10, 1948 in Columbus Ronnie was the son of Raymond D. Coomer and Lela Smith.
He married Flo Collins August 3, 1989 and she survives.
Other survivors include children, Dillon Coomer of Columbus, Katherine (William) Reed of North Vernon, Ronnie (Mary) Bailey of Columbus and Rhonda Coomer Reed of Columbus; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and siblings, Tim (Kay) Coomer of Hope and Debbie Froedge (Larry Jessie) of Columbus.
Ronnie's funeral will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Visitation will be from noon to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated to American Cancer Society.
Ronnie loved riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting mushrooms and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jeannie Wilhite and a brother, Terry Coomer.
