Roy E. Hollman, 92, of Hartsville, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born on October 14, 1932, Roy was the son of William H. and Edith Sprague Hollman. He married Ruth Oliver on July 4, 1965, and she preceded him in death on August 6, 2015.

Roy enjoyed mowing, watching hummingbirds, being outdoors, and NASCAR races. He really enjoyed the time he spent every morning drinking coffee with friends at the Hartsville gas station.

Survivors include sisters, Bessie Hollman of North Vernon and Dorothy Moffitt of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; and siblings, Betty Hollman, Anna Ault, Opal Reece, Ralph Hollman, Charles Hollman, Ed Hollman, Gladys Reece, and Kenneth Hollman.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17 at 11 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home with Pastory Ed Cottrell officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
