Ruth Ann Reed, 66, of Columbus died Thursday
November 5, 2015 at Our Hospice of South Central
Indiana Inpatient Facility.
She received a Bachelor's Degree and had previously
been employed as a social worker.
She was affiliated with Hope First Wesleyan Church.
She loved her cats, butterflies, birds and loved spending
time with her children, grandchildren and family.
The funeral will be Monday at 12:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral
Home in Hope with Pastor Barry Goodman officiating. Visitation
will be Monday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Hope First Wesleyan
Church.
Born January 8, 1949 in Toronto, Ontario, Ruth was the daughter
of Archie and Lillian Iris Whitford Kent.
She is survived by sons, Patrick (Courtney) Reed of Dallas, TX
and Donovan (Jessica) Reed of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Ayden,
Nathan, Sammy, Colton, all of Texas; a sister, Rose Law of Hope;
nephews, Daniel and David law; a niece, Lisa Smith; several great
nieces and nephews and her spiritual mother, Sharon Abbott of
Martinsville.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Lillian,
a nephew, Dustin Smith and a brother in law, Paul Law.
