Sarah Evelyn Thayer, 94 of Hope died Wednseday February 18, 2009 in Pensacola, Fla. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 28, 2009 at Hope United Methodist Church will the Rev. Marianne Hawkins officiating. Calling will be from 1:00 p.m untill service time on Saturday. Inurnment will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery. Survivors include children Martha Jane Moores, Richard F. (Mary Lou) Thayer, Mary Beth (Larry) Covert and Mark O. (Lee) Thayer; eight grandchildren; tweleve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Orrin Dodd Thayer.
