Sharon R. Richardson, 82, of North Vernon passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at her home.

Born on February 23, 1939 in Bartholomew County, Sharon was the daughter of Paul C. and Mildred Sanders Carter. She married A.J. Richardson, and he preceded her in death.

Sharon was an avid NASCAR fan and did word search puzzles. She enjoyed being with her family and enjoyed her four cats.

Survivors include children, Carol (Larry) Hashman of Columbus, Edward (Carol) Carmichael of Zephyr Hills, FL, Donald Carmichael of Zephyr Hills, FL, Susie (Rob) Kincaid of North Vernon, and Thomas (Vickie) Schoolcraft of Ogilville; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.J.; daughter, Ruth Ann; and brother, Joe Carter.

Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 19 at 1 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service. Inurnment will follow at Hawcreek Cemetery.
