Sharon Marie Smith, 80 of Columbus passed away January 2, 2024 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born April 10, 1943 in Brainerd, MN she was the daughter of Everett "Buzz" and Marjorie J. Hand Hannahs.  She married William C. Smith September 19, 1974 and he preceded her in death July 25, 1998.

Sharon is survived by children, Debra (Joe), Charles, Jeff and William (Nikki); grandchildren, Cristen (Isaiah), Justin (Hannah), Sierra and Cheyenne; great grandson, River; siblings, Darrell, Vicki, Ira (Marlene) and Bev and several nieces and nephews.

Before retirement Sharon was employed at Columbus Regional Hospital as a Telemetry Technician.

She was a member of Faith Victory Church and attended Who So Ever Will Church.

She enjoyed embroidery, reading and loved spending time with her cat Callie.

Sharon's family will have a celebration of her life at a later date.  Sharon's funeral arrangements were entrusted to Norman Funeral Home in Hope.

Memorial contributions may be donated to Norman Funeral Home to help defray her funeral expenses.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Michael; grandson, Brandon and four siblings.
