Sonna Lou Holder, 68, of Indianapolis, died Monday,
September 1, 2014, at Hickory Creek Health Care Facility in
Franklin, IN.
Born February 28, 1946, in Indianapolis, IN, Sonna was the daughter
of Gerald and Laura Waltz Hamilton. She lived in Hope, IN, through
her teenage years, and married Darrell Holder December 5, 1964. He
preceded her in death July 27, 2014.
Sonna was a licensed beautician and a seamstress. She enjoyed
creating art and crafts, and square dancing, was a member of
Daughters of the American Revolution.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Norman Funeral
Home in Hope with Pastor Andy Kilps officiating. Visitation will be
Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until service time
at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Survivors include her children, Ian (Traci) Holder of Riverview, FL,
and Katie (Jason) Ryan of Indianapolis; and grandchildren, Claire and
Kenlee Ryan.
Sonna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Darrell;
a son, Eric A. Holder; and brothers, Virgil and Ronnie Hamilton.
