"Speedy" Bruce E. Miller, 53 of Columbus passed away Monday
April 18, 2011 at 8:17 pm at Columbus Regional Hospital.
He was employed by Voelz Body Shop as a Repair Technician
for 28 years.
He attended church at The Ridge.
Speedy was an avid outdoorsman enjoying activities such as
jetskiing, 4-wheeling and riding his motorcycle.
The funeral will be Friday at 11:00 am at Norman Funeral Home
in Hope with Pastor Jerry K Day Jr. officiating. Visitation will be Thursday
from 4:00- 8:00 pm and Friday from 10:00 until service time at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to the Hope Food Bank or "Imagine A Church...
Journey" Building Fund at The Ridge.
Born April 26, 1957 in Columbus, Speedy was the son of the late Carl "Cricket"
Miller and Wanda R. Ball. He married Ruth Ann "Sis" Wheelden June 18, 1983 at
The First Baptist Church of Hope and she survives.
Other survivers include his mother of Rushville; sisters, Linda (Tom) Venable of Hope, Connie Miller (Eugene
Ford) of Calhoun, GA; brothers, Kevin Miller of Hope and Greg (Angie) Miller of Hope; nieces, Renee
Timms, Dawn Kimball, Mackenzie Wingham, TaraMiller, Marin and Macy Wingham;
a nephew, Devon Miller; two great nieces and two great nephews
Speedy was preceded in death by his father.
