Steve D. Frazee, 63 of Hope passed away Thursday April 19,2012 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Steve and his wife Connie owned Connie and Steve's Auto Repair in Columbus. He attended Calvary Nazarine Church and was a member of the Columbus Eagles Lodge. Steve had served with the U.S. Navy several years and he enjoyed NASCAR, Pacers, Colts, his Hot Rod, and playing cornhole.
A celebration of Steve's life will be held Monday at 4:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Pastors Dennis Aud, Shane Rocker and Jim Hudson offiiciating. Military rites will be conducted Monday at the funeral home. Calling hours will be from 12:00 p.m. until servic time. Cremation is planned after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that balloons be sent to the funeral home to be released after the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Riley Hospital for Children.
Born in Columbus May 16, 1948, Steve was the son of Kenneth L. and Mattie L. Anderson Frazee. He married Connie Ward on Oct 17, 2003 and she survives.
Other survivors include a son Cody Frazee of Hope; siblings Carolyn Pike of Edinburgh, David (Anita) Frazee and Herschel Frazee of Hope, Tom (Theresa) Frazee, Bruce ( Pattie) Dailey, Nixola Frazee, Sharon (Kris) Gohn, Karen (Bryan) Brown of Columbus, Glenda (Brad) Sowders and Mark Frazee of Bedford, Tracy (Kevin) Roberson of Bloomington, Tina Frazee of Brown County and Barbara (Jay) Dolan of Florida; uncles Jimmy (Shirley) Thayer of Clifford and Ed ( Carlene ) Anderson of Seymour; a father-in-law Donald Gearhart of Columbus and several nieces and nephews.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, son David Frazee, daughter Tracee Frazee, brother Gary Dailey, grandparents Herschel and Emma Frazee and Taylor and Bessie Anderson and a mother-in-law Norma Gearhart.
