Steven W. Miller, 70, of Hope, died Friday August 14, 2020 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born June 23, 1950 in Columbus, Steve was the son of Robert Miller and Bettie Jane Britton O'Haver.  He married Diana Lynn Bullard October 11, 1969 and she survives.

Steve was employed at Clouse's IGA as a butcher and manager and the most recent employment was a Union Brick Mason.  He had also owned his own bait shop selling night crawlers to the public.

Steve served as a Combat Ranger Sniper in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed hunting, especially turkey and deer and made turkey calls.  He also enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife Diana of Hope; children, Eric Miller (fiance' Shannon) of Columbus and Heather Lillard of Union, KY; grandchildren, Steven Michael Miller of Columbus, Tanner Scott Miller of Columbus and Landon Lillard of Union, KY.

There will be visitation for Steve Thursday from 12:30 pm. to 2:30 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home.  There will be a private funeral service.  Burial with military graveside services performed by Bartholomew County Veteran's Honor Guard will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to Diana for expenses.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bettie Jane.
