Terry Allen Pate, 63, of O'Fallon, IL formerly of Hope passed away October 29, 2023 at his home.

Born December 29, 1960 in Los Angelas, CA, he was the son of Charles H. Pate and Joyce Ann Turner Pate.  He married Angie Andrews October 17, 1979 and she survives.

Terry was employed as a training manager at Boeing for 15 years working in the F15 program.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 24 years and was proud of the time he served.

He enjoyed fishing and visiting with his neighbors.  He especially loved spending time with his family.  Fall and Halloween was his favorite time of the year and he loved decorating for Christmas.

There will be a funeral for Terry Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Bob Lay officiating.  Visitation will be Monday from noon until service time at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Terry is survived by his wife Angie of O'Fallon, IL; sons, Daniel Pate of O'Fallon and Stephen (Kristi) Pate of Cahokia Heights, IL; daughter, Christina Pate of O'Fallen; grandchildren, Reese Michael, Elliott Jackson and Ryker Christian; brothers, David (Cindy) Pate of Hope and John Pate of Hope; mother in law, Winifred Helt of Columbus; sister in law, Andi (Scott) Roberts of Mooresville and Karen Conover (Randy) Helt of Indianapolis and a niece, Madison Roberts of Indianapolis.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and father in law, Richard Helt.
