Thomas L. Marlin, 61 of Bloomington passed away Thursday December 10, 2009 in Bloomington.
He was employed by the U.S. Postal service in Bloomington in the maintenance department.
He had served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Hope Moravian Church. He had previously served as a volunteer fireman for the Hartsville Fire Department.
The funeral will be conducted Friday December 18 at 10:30 am at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Kerry Krauss officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 - 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery

Born on April 10, 1948 in Columbus, IN, he was the son of Franklin L. and Cathrine Drebert Marlin.
Survivors include his mother of Hope; brothers, Steve Marlin of Los Angeles and Matt (Jan) Marlin of Hope; a sister, Christine (Gary) Huffman of Columbus; nieces, Daniela (David) Samms of Los Angeles and Lindsay Huffman of Columbus; nephews, Nick Marlin of Hope and Grant Huffman of Columbus and great nephew, Nathan Samms of Los Angeles.
He was preceded in death by; his father; twin brother, Timothy Marlin and grandparents, Ernest & Martha Drebert and William & Leah Marlin.
