Thomas Alan Simmons, 60 of Bedford passed away Thursday
March 20, 2014 at the I.U. Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

He had attended Hope United Methodist Church. He loved playing
cards, doing puzzles, going out for coffee, cars and was intrigued
by observing people.

The funeral will be Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home

in Hope with Thomas's sister, Rev. Betty Ann Garrett officiating.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Hope
MoravianCemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the
home Thomas lived in called Stone Belt or I.U. Health Hospice House
in Bloomington through the funeral home.
Born November 27, 1953 in Columbus, Thomas was the son of
John Perry and Gladys Glick Simmons.

Survivors include his parents John Perry and Gladys of Columbus;
siblings, Jim Simmons(Jo-Ellen) of Homer Glen, IL., Don Simmons
(Roseann) of Fort Wayne, IN, Ron Simmons (Adele) of LaQuinta, CA,
Betty Ann Garrett (Curtis) of Greenwood, IN, Larry Simmons (Kathie)
of Mincie, IN, Catherine Simmons of Columbus, IN and Bonnie Baute
of Hope, IN; twelve nieces and nephews and several great nieces and
nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his brother-in-law John Baute.
