Thomas R. Venable, 73, of Hope died January 9, 2024 at the Neuro Diagnostic Institute in Indianapolis.

Born March 10, 1950 in Columbus he was the son of Paul and Joan Price Venable.  He married Linda Miller May 17, 1975.

Tom was employed in the insurance business as an appraiser.

In his earlier years he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hope.

He enjoyed working on cars and he could fix anything.  He also loved sports especially football.

There will be a funeral for Tom on Tuesday January 16 at 2:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope.  Pastor Dennis Chasteen will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Moravian cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to the donor's choice of charities through the charity.

Tom is survived by a sister, Maria Sauer of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
