Wade Morris Baxter, 63, of Columbus, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at his home.
Wade worked in the factory at Cummins. He was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge. He enjoyed helping his family with Thoroughbred race horses.
Born on June 25, 1955 in Columbus, Wade was the son of Morris and Edelle Waltz Baxter.
Survivors include sons, Mark (Billie Jo) Baxter of Elizabethtown and Michael Baxter of Columbus; father, Morris Baxter of Columbus; granddaughter, Keeley Baxter of Columbus; siblings, Becky Baxter Clayburn of Columbus and Roy (DeeDee) Baxter of Winchester, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
Wade is preceded in death by his mom; nephew, Travis Snyder; and infant niece, Lindsey Baxter.
Cremation is planned.
