Walter H. Romine, 75 of Columbus died at 6:25 a.m. Sunday
March 12, 2017 at Willow Crossing Health Facility.
Before retriement he had worked as a machinist at Reliance
Electric and Enkei. He had also previously owned a beauty shop.
Walter enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors. He was
artistic and did lots of woodworking, arts and crafts, welding and
wrote poetry.
He was a member of the American Legion, the Moose Lodge
and the Eagles Lodge.
Born October 5, 1941 in Columbus, IN, Walter was the son of
Harry C. and Rose Elizabeth Cox Romine.
Survivors include a son, Elandril Romine of Columbus and
a sister, Irene Mccoy of Lake Station, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Edward
Ogilvie and a sister, Alice Reeves.
Following Walter's wishes cremation is planned and there
will be a get together of family and friends at a later date.
Arrangements were made through Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
