Wanda L. DeBusk, 78 of Hope went home to be with the Lord on Monday February 18, 2008 at 7:25 am.
Ms. DeBusk owned and operated The Hartsville House Restaurant for 36 years. She was a member of The Hartsville Church Of Christ, Red Hat Ladies Society, and Columbus V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary. She loved to cook, play cards and spend time with her family.
Born on October 15, 1930 in Madison, IN, Ms. DeBusk was the daughter of William G. and Rotha Cull Johnson.
The funeral will be conducted on Thursday February 21 at 2:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Ed Fryman officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 and on Thursday from 1:00-2:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery. Survivors include; children, Nyoka King and David(Nancy) DeBusk of Hartsville, Kathy(Jeff) Dolan of Columbus, Scott(Donna) DeBusk of Hope and Don Juan DeBusk of Mich.; stepchildren, Kathleen Noblitt of Seymour and Mike DeBusk of Columbus; a beloved companion of many years, Lewis Pendleton of Hope; a daughter-in-law, Susan Kloss of Seymour; sisters, Freida Milton of Madison and Alma Boldery of Milton, Ky.; a brother, Bobby Johnson of Madison, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Ms. DeBusk was preceded in death by, her parents; a son, George F. Kloss Jr. and several brothers and sisters.
