Wanda M. Thompson's Obituary
Wanda M. Thompson, 65 of Clifford, died at 4:40 am Thursday Nov. 29, 2007 at her home.
Mrs. Thompson loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved to cook. She met no strangers and would give her heart to everyone. She was a homemaker and that is what she made it, a home!
The funeral will be at 11:00 am Monday December 3 at Norman Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy McIntyre officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 6 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery, west of Clifford, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana or The Diabetes Foundation.
Born October 14, 1942, in Hope, In Mrs. Thompson was the daughter of Eddie R. and Bertha Caldwell Burton. She married Carroll Thompson September 10, 1960, in Shawneetown, Illinois and he survives.
Also surviving are children, Rob Thompson of Columbus, In, Debby Fletcher of Murphysboro, Illinois, Paul Thompson of Seymour, In and Troy (Becky) Thompson of Farmland, In.; grandchildren, Tyler Bannister, Lauren Phelps, Logan Thompson, Courtney Fletcher, Philip Rollins, T.J. Thompson, and Carson Devoy Thompson; brothers, Arthur ( Florence) Burton, and Greg (Marcia) Burton, both of Columbus, In.; sisters, Yvonne Johnson(Jim McPeek) of Hope, In, Carolyn Doboze of Butlerville, In., and Linda(John) Wright of North Vernon, In. She was preceded in death by siblings, Margaret Gabbard, Cecil Sinclair, Hansel Burton and Donna Zaring
