Wanetta Faye Todd, 82 of Flat Rock died Friday April 15, 2016
at her home.
She worked as an operator at Bell Telephone and also as a senior
aide at Columbus Hospital. Before retirement she did childcare.
Wanetta was a devoted and loving mother; a supportive and
encouraging friend to all. She had a smile that would light up a
room.
She was a member of Flat Rock Christian Church where she
was active in ladies volunteer groups and choir. She was an avid
crocheter and enjoyed fishing.
The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Flat Rock Christian
Church. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and 1hour
prior to service time Thursday at the church. Burial will follow at
Flat Rock Cemetery.
Born April 9, 1934 in St. Paul, she was the daughter of James
and Nanna McMillian Buchanan. She married Lewis A. Todd on
January 7, 1953 and he preceded her in death on January 7, 1980.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Flat Rock Christian
Church Building Fund or Missions.
Survivors include; James L. (Sherry) Todd of MO, Jeremy K. Todd
of Colorada, Debra D. (Jim) Sidorowicz of Florida and Timothy A. Todd
of Oregan; a brother, Donald E. Buchanan of Shelbyville; 10 grandchildren;
4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis A. Todd;
a son, Anthony L. Todd; a brother, Robert D. Buchanan and a sister,
Reba C. Fix.
