William W. "Bill" Spaugh, 76 of Greensburg died
Monday evening
at Aspen Place Health Facility in Greensburg.
He was a retired farmer and along with farming he
had been
employed at Cummins, Reliance, Deckards Tool & Dye, NTN
and
had several other jobs.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce. He was a
member of Hope
American Legion, Eagles at Greensburg, and was a member of
the
Flat Rock Hawcreek School Board from 1982 - 1986.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and going on
houseboat trips
with friends.
Bill's funeral will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at
Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and 1 hour
prior to the funeral
on friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hawcreek
Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Hope
American Legion
through the funeral home.
Born March 5, 1940 in Shelbyville, Bill was the son
of E.J. and Alma
Hailway Spaugh who preceded him in death.
He is survived by a daughter, Kathy (Cory) Reeves
of Hope; a son,
Brian Spaugh of Washington State; grandsons, Dylan Anthony
of Hope,
Dakota Bush of Hope and Ethan Henthorne of Taylorsville.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and
brothers, Jim and
Richard Spaugh.
