William H." Bill" Brown, 71 of Hartsville died in Decatur County.
He was retired from Golden Foundry and was a farmer.
He had been a member of The First Baptist Church of Hartsville since 1970 and was a church trustee. He loved farming and spending time with his family.
The funeral will be Thursday April 10, 2008 at 10:30 am at The First Baptist Church of Hartsville with Pastor Tim Tallent officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Born on March 29, 1937 in Johnson Co., Mr. Brown was the son of Edgar and Mae Elizabeth Thomas Brown. He married Wanda Mowery June 19, 1959 in Wabash, IN and she survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Marlisa(Mark) Boilanger of New Palestine; sons, Larry Brown of Indianapolis and Danny(Julie) Brown of Columbus; grandchildren, Brittany Brown, Noah William Boilanger, Grant Brown and Jessica and Jordan Kunce; brothers Walter Brown of Columbus and Horace Brown of Franklin; a sister Rosemary Lucas of Brown Co.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by; his parents;brothers, Ralph, Carl, Phillip and Donald Brown and a sister Barbara Brown and a grandson Lee D. Brown.
