William "Bill" J. Robb, 82 of Hope passed away Friday
January 24, 2014 at his home.
He was a Pawnbroker and owner of Gold Nugget Pawn Shop
in Hope.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a lifetime member
of NRA, National Sporting Clays Association, American Trap
Shooting Association and was in the Special Services of the 5th
Army Rifle and Pistol Team.
He enjoyed hunting, shooting and fishing.
There will be a celebration of Bill's life Monday from 3 -5 at
Hope Community Church of God Fellowship Hall. Burial will be
at Proctor Cemetery earlier Monday with Rev. Gerald Hancock
officiating.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Born June 11, 1931 in Chicago, IL., Bill was the son of David Treu and Jean Paton Robb. He married Alta Mae Penrose November 25, 1955 in Chicago, IL. and she survives.
Survivors include his wife of Hope; children, Billie Whitted (Alan)of Columbus, Bobbie Robb of Hope, Jackie Tallent (Dan) Hope, James(Michele) Robb of Sacremento, CA and Aaron Krupta (Jim) of Sugarland, TX; grandchildren, David Carman (Carrie) of Hope, Dane Carman of Franklin, Alex Whitted, Audrey Whitted and Austin Whitted
all of Columbus, Sydney and Avery Tallent of Hope, Logan Robb, Sam Robb,and Ryan Robb of Sacremento, CA, Vivian Krupta and Mary Kate Krupta of Sugarland, TX and great grandchildren Kaleb and Molly Carman.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
