Willis "Bill" Aaron Lorts Jr. passed away on January 25, 2026 in St. Louis, MO. He was born on February 17, 1928, son of Willis A. Lorts Sr. and Flora I. Jones.

Bill is survived by many cousins near the area of Hope, Indiana and numerous friends in St. Louis, MO. He was a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, MO. with a bachelor's degree in arts and science in 1949. Bill served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952.

Bill worked most of his life for Ford Motor Company in Hazelwood, MO. as a Purchasing Manager. After his retirement he spent much of his time enjoying and entertaining friends and family while cooking for them and being a gracious host. Bill also enjoyed reading and playing his piano.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willis A. Lorts Sr. and Flora I. Jones.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Norman Funeral Home, 604 Main St. Hope, IN 47246 with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Leslie Fix officiating.

Interment will take place in Moravian Cemetery, Hope, Indiana beside his parents.
