Obituary

Wilma Lee Hesting, 88 of Columbus died Friday July 27, 2012
at Brown County Health and Living in Nashville, IN.

Mrs. Hesting was a former member of Sandy Hook United
Methodist Church . She was a Tony Stewart and NASCAR fan and liked IU
basketball and the Indiana Pacers. She also loved to travel and spent winters in Florida.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at
Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Pastor Chuck Miller officiating.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. and from 10:00
a.m. until service time on Tuesday. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brown County Health
and Living Activity Fund or Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Columbus on June 8, 1924, she was the daughter of
Ernest and Maggie Shaw Huffer. She first married John M. Herndon in 1945.
He preceded her in death on July 16, 1972. She later married Edwin Hesting
and he also preceded her in death.

Survivors include children Sharon R. (Byron Welker) Wright
of Columbus, Becky (Pete) Henry of Crothersville, Jon D. Herndon of Greenwood,
and Timothy J. Herndon of Indianapolis; grandchildren Gregory K. (Kristy) Wright,
James D. (Danielle) Herndon, Kristy L. (Matthew) Donner, Angela R. Hayes,
Amanda Herndon, John M. Herndon and Jacquee M. Henry; 11 great-grandchildren,
and stepchildren Joe and Jerome Hesting both of Oregon, Mark Hesting and Georgia
(Chris) Pedersen both of Florida and David (Sheila) Hesting of Batesville.

Mrs. Hesting was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands,
a brother Stanley Huffer and sisters Marjorie Jordan and Lois Huser.
