Obituary

Wilma Huntsman, 87, of Columbus, passed from this life to the next on June 15, 2018, at Willow Crossing Health and Rehab in Columbus, IN.
Wilma was born on June 17th, 1930 in Hope IN to Elda J. and Nellie Anderson Clouse. Wilma grew up in Hope IN and attended Hope High School.  Wilma met and married Floyd E. Huntsman in 1953, and he preceded her in death in 1984. Wilma missed Floyd dearly for the rest of her life.
Wilma is survived by a son, Mark Huntsman (Dana) of Scipio, IN; grandson, Jeremy (Bianca) of Columbus; great grandsons, Caleb and Callum, both of Columbus; and nieces, Connie Clouse (Colleen Larivee) of Nashville, IN and Diana (Jeff) Brodt of Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Wilber in 1943; a brother, Joseph in 2011; and her nephew, David Jay Clouse in 2010.
Wilma was a member of Fairlawn Presbyterian Church in Columbus. She loved flowers, animals, and long walks in Brown County State Park, and stayed very active until her final months. Wilma was particularly fond of music, and attended many bluegrass jam sessions, where she made friends easily. Wilma will be remembered for her quirks, her energy, and her smile. She never met a stranger.
A memorial of her life will be held on Tuesday, June 19 at 12 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope IN. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Fairlawn Presbyterian Church.
