Wyvonne A. Loper, 86 of Hartsville passed away at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday June 29, 2011 at Columbus Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Loper had retired from Marsh Supermarket in Columbus after working there 32 years. She was a member of Newbern United
Methodist Church where she was a member of United Methodist Women and had been choir director. She was also a member of Spoon and
Thimble Home Ec. Club and loved to play cards.
The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Larry McIntosh officiating. Calling will be today
from 5 to 8 p.m. and also on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Newbern United Methodist Church.
Born in Hartsville June 30, 1924, Mrs. Loper was the daughter of Ora R. and Flossie Rambo Oliver. She married Francis M Loper
on October 9, 1942 in Hartsville. He preceded in death on April 23, 2008.
Survivors include children Cheryl (Dean) Henderson of Hope, Virgil "Butch" (Alvinia Bledsoe) Loper of Scipio and Richard (Deborah)
Loper of Columbus; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Mrs. Loper was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
